Reel life Villein is a real-life Hero. Some are calling him Superman and some Garibo ka Masiha. Some are comparing him with Mother Teresa and some are with Mahatma Gandhi. He is none other than Sonu Sood. If humanity had a face it would look like Sonu Sood. 

Sonu says “When everything is locked down but it is very important to unlock humanity”. Sonu distributed 45000 meal packets each day and approximately 3 million meal packets during 125 days along with his friend Niti Goyal and team.

Sonu saw a family was going to Karnataka from Mumbai on foot. He asked why they were going by walk. The family replied we did not have the patience to tolerate it anymore. We will reach our home in 10 days. After listening to this he felt too sad. He took permissions and the first time he sent 350 migrant workers to Karnataka.

After seeing the worst condition of workers Sonu decided to help them. He went to local police and understood the guidelines of all the states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand, etc… that how he can send people to their respective states.

Sonu Sood and his team have sent 12000 migrant workers to their respective hometowns and working on a list of around 40,000 workers from different parts of the country. 

Sonu partnered with spice jet and brought back 295 Indian Students who are stranded in Moscow in Russia and from Tashkent in Uzbekistan.

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood was born on 30 July 1973 in Moga (Punjab). He studied at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering [Nagpur]. Sonu Sood is an actor, producer, humanitarian. He acts in Panjabi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada movies.

He started his career with 'KallaZhagar' in 1999 and his first Bollywood Movie was Shaheed-E-Azam in which he played the role of Bhagat Singh. Sonu has played the roles in several blockbuster movies like Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Dabaang, R- Raj Kumar, Happy New Year, Entertainment, etc… 

Sonu has his own production house Shakti Sagar Productions which is named after his father, Sakti Sagar Sood. He has also worked with international star Jackie Chan in Kung Fu Yoga.

Sonu Sood has been awarded several awards like the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor(Arundhati), The Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Award for the best villain, IIFA Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role(Dabangg), and many more.

1. It's a story of migrant worker Rramlala who belongs to Bihar but got stuck in Goregaon(Mumbai) and his wife was pregnant. Due to lockdown, he had no work. He was struggling to manage daily expenses and had no facility to return home. 

In that tough time, Sonu Sood helped Ramlala to reach Bihar. After a few days of reaching Bihar, he was blessed with a baby boy and he named his baby ‘Sonu Sood to express his love towards Sonu.

2. It is the story of a Karate Champion Amrit Pal Kaur. She has won many National and International medals in karate for India. During KAI President Cup 2020 in Goa, her leg got injured. 

Because of financial problems, she wasn't able to treat her third-degree ACL tear. She did not get any support or help from anywhere. Like a big brother, Sonu took care of her medical facilities. Now she is well and she will dedicate her next medal Sonu to express her for Sonu.

3. The next story is of Nitesh Bhardwaj, he was stranded due to lockdown in Phillipian. Sonu Sood helped Nitesh in coming back to India. Now he has joined Sonu’s team and working as a volunteer.

4. Around 100 students were stranded in Mosko during a lockdown. They sought help everywhere but couldn’t get from anywhere. They almost loosed their hope.

On 22 July, one of them named Perrianon emailed Sonu about there situation and asked for help. Within two days they got helped.

 Sonu booked a flight for them and they safely landed in India. Today they are with their parents and are very much grateful to Sonu.

5. Mohammad Nijam was stuck in Kyrgyzstan with other students. After trying every possible way Nijam asked help from Sonu through twitter. Along with Nijam Sonu helped other students also to come back to India.

    

These are just a few drops ocean. There is an unlimited blessing which Sonu is getting now because of his unbelievable humanitarian work.

Talent should pass on to other

Shanta Balu Pawar(85 years old) or you can also call her as Warrior Aaji. Her video of Lathi baazi went viral on social media last month. Along with common people she attracted the attention of many Bollywood celebrities also. Warrior Aaji is an inspiration to many others.

After seeing that amazing talent at this age Sonu came forward to help her.

On the special occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi Sonu established a school for her. So that she can teach martial arts to the children.

Shanta had a dream of opening her own training school. Sonu made it possible. Aaji named the school as “Sonu Sood Martial Arts School”. Instead of performing on the streets, now she can pass her talent to others. And the minimal fee will help in her livelihood. She calls Sonu as Beta.

Pravasi Rojgar

On his 47th birthday(30th July), Sonu Sood started a platform Pravasi Rojgar to provide jobs to the people who lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sonu thanked the partners(Amazon, Sodexo, Urban Co, Portea, AEPC, CITI, Trident, Quess Crop, etc....) who joined this initiative and made it possible. 

Portal got lunched with 3 lakhs jobs, around 20,000 interviews are in process and thousands of people got the job. The help desk number and links are given below.
